At Chalmers Fitness, our training style continues to evolve, offering a wide variety of workouts each week, but the basics are always in place....solid weight lifting combined with cardio training. We utilize dumbbells, TRX, kettlebells, jump rope combined with full body weight exercises. No workout is EVER the same!! We believe variety is key to sculpting beautiful muscles. We offer an amazing workout program and solid community all in one!
I have been training clients to better health, wellness & fitness for over 30 years! After running long distance for 27 years and not seeing any change in my body, I decided there had to be a better way....and that's when I discovered High Intensity Interval Training. I started training smarter, not longer, and saw amazing results! I am stronger in my 60’s than when I was training in my 30’s! I came in first place for my age category in the San Francisco Stair Climb (53 stories) three times. I have also done four burpee miles with my personal best time at age 61!

It’s hard to believe I’m celebrating my 10 year anniversary this month with Marilyn Chalmers fitness. I started working with her as a personal training client and within months realized the power of boot camp- Marilyn’s boot camp workouts are diverse, well researched and fun. I have been consistently showing up five days a week over the years and the results are many. Better fitness to reach personal goals likeTrekking Mt Kilimanjaro in my 60’s and having the energy to play with my grandchildren. I have been training with Marilyn since 2004, and she has transformed my body. She always crafts 1:1 sessions that hit my muscles in a different way, every session.
